Middle school

In middle school, I learned that it can be an opportunity to make all new friends and start over from elementary school. On the last day of 6th grade, I got into a fight with my friends, and they all stopped talking to me. I went into middle school without even a best friend to do it with. I went through the transition of elementary school to middle school all by myself. I hope to not remember how alone i felt the first couple of days. I do, however, want to remember how that situation forced me to come more out of my shell and reach out to people. I went into the 7th grade with no one, and came out with a new friend group, and a best friend.

I personally never had to move. It almost felt like i was moving into an all new school going into 7th grade because i lost all my friends on the last day of 6th grade. I was so nervous going to school the first day because i didn't want to be that person who walks in the halls all by themselves and doesn't talk to anyone because they had no friends. I was also worried that i wouldn't be able to make new friends, and that i would be alone until i left middle school.

I didn't necessarily try on a new personality, i think going into middle school alone made me come out as the outgoing person i am. Going into middle school by my self made me have to reach out to people and start talking to new people. If anything, i think my personality came out more.
