Ocean Blog First Post

I chose this topic because ever since I was little I loved the ocean. I read books on it all the time and did a lot of research on it. I am in love with the ocean and just wanted to do more research on it.

It all started when i was in the third grade. I don't know what first made me start to research the ocean but i absolutely loved it. I think the ocean was just calling me. So I started reading a lot of books about it and it really was amazing. I thought I absolutely in love with the ocean, but it was put on another level when i went on my first cruise.

My family and I were just walking on the deck, when my mom yelled out "Look at the dolphins!" this was my first time ever on a cruise, and my first time ever seeing what i read in the books actually happen. There were the dolphins. Just riding with the waves on the side of the boat. It was absolutely beautiful, and that was when I knew I was officially, absolutely in love with the ocean. That was when it reached another level. We watched the dolphins for a long time, until we had to go. Later in the cruise, about three days later, we stopped at a port. While we were at this port, we had an activity where we could swim with the dolphins. Not only did I just see dolphins in the ocean for the first time the other day, now I was swimming with them. We danced and played with the dolphins. AND we kissed the dolphins! It was so precious and adorable.

That whole experience really confirmed that I loved the ocean and everything in it. My favorite place in the whole world is the beach. I don't really care what beach it is, as long as it is a beach and it is warm, I love it.
